Silver Trak Digital joins ABE and is confirmed as an exhibitor at ABE 2021

Media, broadcast and digitisation specialist Silver Trak Digital has joined ABE, the world class media and entertainment industry association and will be exhibiting at their bi-annual event on 9 and 10 November 2021 at Luna Park in Sydney.

Silver Trak Digital specialises in all things pre-release for content, boasting services encompassing Aggregation, QC, Authoring, Broadcast Duplication, Transcoding, Digital Delivery, Digital Cinema Packaging and Theatrical Distribution in a “one-stop shop” environment.

With its core Asset Management and hosting platform Media Room – now Media Room version 3 – Silver Trak can receive uploaded content, conduct QC review, transform the format, framerate and ratios and have it ready for re-delivery anywhere in the world on to any platform within hours.

Silver Trak COO Christian Christiansen said, “We wanted to join ABE for many reasons. Firstly it’s a small but targeted event with high quality content where the best brands in Australia are represented. As every company who exhibits is given the same size booth we each get to showcase on the same platform. ABE also represents great value for money and the show is very much about the technology, not the size of stands. There’s a great bunch of people running it, a much better audience than other shows in terms of target market and has one of the best networking functions of the year.”

At ABE 2021 Silver Trak will be showcasing the new version of Media Room 3 as well as telling their remarkable story of their digitisation arm, DAMsmart.

Christiansen added, “DAMsmart is now the largest commercial digitisation facility in Australia handling some of the most significant archival collections from within Australia and internationally. As a preferred supplier to the National Film Archive and the National Film and Sound Archives, DAMsmart has been recognised nationally as the best digitisation and format conversion facility in the country.”

Outside of Australia DAMsmart has a dedicated office in Malaysia and has played a significant part in the archival conversion for locations such as Hong Kong and South Africa and it continues to expand into other Asian markets as facilities across these areas dissipate and demand increases.

The move to join ABE is a strategic one for Silver Trak Digital as Christian Christiansen concluded, “Silver Trak Digital answers the needs of today’s rapid file world by utilising technology such as Aspera on Cloud to bring the world closer. Along with DAMsmart we operate out of Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Auckland and Kuala Lumpur and we will be demonstrating our very latest and best technology and solutions at ABE 2021.”
