Silver Trak first in Australia to offer Rimage (Anti-rip) Video Protect for recordable DVD.

SYDNEY, 20 July 2008 – Silver Trak Digital today announced another duplication industry first. As an official value-added-reseller for the Rimage range of on-demand disc publishing hardware, Silver Trak is also the only company to now offer Rimage’s video protection solution for recordable DVDs.

The cutting edge technology, ‘Rimage Video Protect’, uniquely inhibits ripping and disc copying software rather than playback devices from properly performing - thus ensuring premium playback compatibility. The process involves encapsulating the data files on a DVD causing access to the content by common ripping programs to be controlled. Each DVD copy can also be digitally watermarked for added security.
